Hike

Ocean Overlook
Head up Route 52 (Mountain Street) to the trailhead for the Old Carriage Trail. Hike up to the Tablelands trail. Head left to the Ocean Overlook. The Ocean Overlook provides stunning views of the Camden Hills, distant Ragged Mountain, Camden Harbor and Pen Bay with fall foliage, islands and lakes.

Drive

Camden to Hope
Drive up Route 52. Turn left on Molyneaux Road. Follow Molyneaux Road to a hard right on Howe Hill Road. Follow Howe Hill out to Seacoast Road. Turn Left on Robbins Road until you reach Camden Road. Turn left on Camden Road, and follow that out to Route 235. Turn left and look left and you’ll see the Hatchet Mountain Public House. Call ahead for reservations and check to make sure it’s open on your chosen touring day. Great for lunch or dinner and in mild weather sit outside and watch the fall foliage colors on the hillside.
